Updating My Webpage, or Adventures in Confusion

    28-Aug-2008

Just when I think I have everything organized, I get a letter from my publisher saying my webpage could use a little pizzazz. Okay, so I've plugged in a few things, fiddled with some photos, and now I hope it is, as requested, "a little more robust."

This particular effort is probably all for naught as I've never learned how to send a newsletter. I'll give it another try but it's doubtful that any of you who have asked for one have received anything at all. Nowdays it's not enough that you've written a book, you have to know how to manage "a hot (clickable) link," and figure out what defines "a higher resolution photo."

If you do receive this, I want you to know that we celebrated a fantastic book launch up at the Wonewoc Spiritualist Camp on Sunday, August 24th. The weather could not have been more beautiful. The crowd was large and enthusiastic (at least the ones I could actually see) and Night Sisters was given a most heartfelt sendoff.

Please check the page entitledl "EVENTS" on my webpage for an updated schedule of book signings and readings, just in case I'll be in your neighborhood.

And if you receive this, I'll try to keep you informed about what's happening here at my desk.

Meanwhile, here goes -- I'm sending this into the ether. It's all such a mystery, the Internet. Not exactly magic but certainly something I don't comprehend.
